Roundup of features for Summer 2021

We've had a few notable features so far this Summer across the vast digital ocean, so we've rounded up our favourites for you. Hopefully you'll find some of them useful for inspo!

Muzli is a design inspiration site that curates content from hundreds of online publications. ORCA's new website was chosen as a 'Muzli Top Pick' and mentioned as a great design and digital inspiration resource. Muzli has recently been turned into a browser extension which is a really useful tool when you want to see what's happening in the design world. Go check it!

Our site has also been featured in the CSS Design Awards with a special kudos award in the UI, UX and Innovation categories. As well as this it's also been nominated in Awwwards, check it out and cast your vote! We're really proud of our new look website, it was a long time in the making as we had so many ideas and wanted to execute them perfectly to work with our new proposition and messaging. A big shout out to James, Max and Karlis for putting their blood, sweat and tears into the design of this disruptive site, showcasing our talents as a studio and standing out from the crowded space of branding agencies. Thanks also to our digital partners Noughts and Ones for bringing our insane vision to life through a headless JAMstack website build.

You may have also seen that our work for Mogul & Dram has been shortlisted for the CreativePool Annual 2021 Awards in the categories of Branding and Packaging. Winners are yet to be announced but there are some very inspiring projects on the site you should check out.

The project also received a nice little feature in Design Week, highlighting ORCA's involvement in the RTD seltzer movement; designing products for the health conscious Millennial and Gen-Z audience.

We also got a couple of mentions from BestStartup.co.uk and we're listed in the 12 Top Bristol Based Creative Agency Firms as well as 25 Top Bristol Based Graphic Design Firms.

We've got a lot going on behind the scenes at the moment that we're not allowed to share (top secret business) so head over to our Work in Play page to see some of the extra bits of design we've been doing on the side. This page is an ongoing collection of visually stimulating art pieces, illustrations, animations, brand explorations and experiments with type, colour and texture. Hope you like it.

Catch you on Instagram soon ;)
